Looking for Summer in a dessert form?! This is it. S’mores are the epitome of Summer and what better way to enjoy them (by NOT going outside in the heat and getting eaten by mosquitoes) than in a decadent ooey gooey brownie form. They’re so simple to make and the perfect Summer BBQ dessert!
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons melted butter
3/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups mini marshmallows
Hershey candy bars
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, line an 8×8 baking pan with foil, and spray with nonstick cooking spray
In a bowl mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Add to the pan and press down firmly creating an even layer. Put into the preheated oven and bake for 8 minutes
Prepare the brownie batter while the crust is cooking. In a bowl mix together all of the ingredients until well blended and smooth
Once the crust is cooked pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the brownies are cooked through
Once the brownies are cooked and out of the oven put the broiler on
To the top of the brownies add the mini marshmallows and pieces of the Hershey bar all over. You can even do more little pieces of graham cracker if you’d like!
Put the brownies into the oven and let the top toast up. BE CAREFUL- they toast up VERY quickly! Let them cool completely before slicing and serving. Happy Summer!
