Ever have a turkey burger that is dry, flavorless, and just plain boring? Well- that’s NOT this recipe! This easy turkey burger recipe will blow you away with its flavor and how easy it is!

Ingredients

Burger

  • 1-pound ground turkey
  • 1 small shallot minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
  • salt
  • pepper
  • onion powder

Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 large garlic clove minced
  • 4 basil leaves chopped
  • 1 scallion sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Toppings

  • Arugula
  • Sliced tomato
  • Avocado
  • Buns of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill, griddle pan, or skillet to medium high
  2. In a bowl mix together the ground turkey, minced shallot, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Form 4 equal patties from the turkey mixture
  3. Lightly grease your griddle pan and put the turkey burgers on. Let them cook 4-5 minutes on each side
  4. While the burgers are cooking make the sauce for the top
  5. In a small bowl add the Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped basil leaves, sliced scallion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and onion powder until combined and set aside
  6. Once the burgers are done cooking its time to assemble! To your bun of choice add a patty, turkey burger, a big spoonful of the sauce, and whatever toppings you’d like. I like avocado, tomatoes, and arugula
