Still on your dry January kick? Keep it up- you’re almost there! Trust me, I love a good cocktail but sometimes a gal just needs a break. However, just because you’re not drinking doesn’t mean you have to only drink boring water! This mocktail recipe is so delicious it will satiate any of those cocktail cravings.

Ingredients

Scale

Simple Syrup:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 inch fresh ginger, sliced

3 sprigs fresh rosemary

Cocktail:

3 oz fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice

1 oz rosemary ginger simple syrup

Sparkling water

Sprig of rosemary for garnish

Instructions

The first thing you want to do is make the simple syrup. In a small pan over medium high heat add the sugar, water, rosemary, and sliced ginger

Let the simple syrup come to a simmer and once all of the sugar has dissolved turn off the heat and let it come to room temperature

In a shaker with ice add the grapefruit juice and simple syrup. Shake until chilled

Add into a glass, top with sparkling water, and garnish with a rosemary sprig. That’s it! A delicious mocktail that won’t make you feel like you’re missing out on any fun. Cheers!
