Classic Italian Sub

The classic Italian sub to me is the ULTIMATE sandwich recipe. I love all the layers of different meats and the vinegar punch. It’s a simple sandwich to make and one of my family’s go to for a tasty lunch.

4 slices provolone cheese
4 slices mozzarella cheese
Thinly sliced green bell pepper
Thinly sliced red onion
Spinach or shredded romaine lettuce
Sliced black olives
Peperocini peppers

2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup red wine vinegar

Instructions

Cut the sub roll in half longways and add as much of the vinaigrette to the bread on both sides
Add the sliced Genoa salami, Capicola, ham, provolone, and mozzarella
To the top add as much or as little of the toppings as you’d like
Cut in half and serve! That’s it. A delicious and extremely satisfying sub for anyday of the week
