Hummus is such a great snack to have on hand. It’s healthy, flavorful, and will satisfy so many cravings. Plus- there are so many uses for it! This green goddess hummus recipe might be your new favorite. It’s packed with so much flavor!
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup Tahini
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
1/3 cup chopped fresh chives
3 cloves garlic
Juice from 1 lemon
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt
Pepper
In a food processor or blender add in the drained chickpeas
To the chickpeas add in the tahini, chopped parsley, basil, chives, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper
Turn the food processor on low and slowly add in the oil. You might need a little more or a little less- so slowly drizzle it in
You want it to be creamy with no chunks and a nice thick (but spreadable) consistency
Once done add it to a shallow bowl and using the back of a spoon create a little swirl in it. Drizzle the top with a little olive oil and another crack of black pepper. Serve with hot pita or fresh cut veggies. YUM!
