Looking for a HEALTHY appetizer recipe for this St. Patrick’s Day? This delicious dip is not only healthy but packed with flavor-and it’s green! Having a healthy appetizer means you can drink more green beers right?
1 ripe avocado
10 oz shelled cooked edamame
2 cloves garlic, minced
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons onion powder
Salt
Pepper
Pita chips for serving
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
In a bowl (or food processor) add the avocado and edamame. Mash together or blend together if using a food processor
To the bowl add the garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice, and chopped cilantro
Mix together until completely combined
That’s it! Serve it with some pita chips or veggies and you have a delicious and healthy appetizer
