Baked Beans*

  • 2 strips bacon, cut in pieces
  • Half of large onion, cut small
  • 1 can (28 oz) baked beans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. First things first ladies, preheat your oven to 275*F. While that’s heating up, heat up a heavy pan pan and add the sliced bacon. Let that cook for a couple minutes to get out all the delicious bacon fat. Once you see the bacon is starting to cook down, add the chopped onions with a little salt and let cook for about 3 minutes, just until they’re starting to turn opaque. Once those are cooked, go ahead and add the baked beans. To the beans, add the brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, and all the spices. Once that comes up to a simmer and everything is all mixed together put in you’re preheated oven. Let cook for 30 minutes and there you go… delicious baked beans!
