Ingredients

Scale

3 ripe bananas

1 stick unsalted butter, melted

2 eggs

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup chocolate chips

1 banana, sliced in half longways

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a loaf pan

In a bowl mash the bananas

To the bowl add in the butter, eggs, sugar, sour cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine

Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine

Add in the chocolate chips and mix to combine

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, top with the sliced banana, and put into the preheated oven

Bake 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. If you see the top browning too quickly I recommend tinting with a little foil!

After cooked through let it cool before slicing and devouring. Helllloooooo happiness!
