Homemade hummus is so easy, healthy, and extremely delicious. This gourmet (and easy) take on a classic hummus will blow you away! So much flavor in every bite you won’t even believe it.
2- 15 oz cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 cloves garlic
1/3 cup fresh dill
1 heaping teaspoon fresh lemon zest
Juice of 2 lemons
6 tablespoons Tahini
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
4 tablespoons olive oil
In a food processor or blender add in the rinsed and drained garbanzo beans
Add in the garlic, fresh dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, tahini, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
Turn on the food processor while you slowly add in the oil. You might need to stop and scrape down the sides a time or two
Add the hummus to a shallow serving bowl and use the back of a spoon to add a nice swirl on the top. Drizzle the top with a little more olive oil and some cracked black pepper and dill sprigs
Serve with pita, veggies, or with whatever you’d like!
