Cocoa Roasted Almonds

I don’t know about you but I’m a huge snacker during the day. This healthy yet chocolaty delicious snack recipe will be your new guilt free favorite! So snack away!


2 cups raw almonds
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons good quality cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Pinch salt


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F
Spread out the almonds evenly on a parchment paper lined sheet tray
Roast on one side for 6 minutes, stir, and put back into the oven to roast 6 minutes more
Once cooked add the almonds into a bowl and drizzle with honey. Stir to coat evenly
Add the cocoa powder, cayenne pepper, and salt and stir to combine
Once evenly coated add them to a sheet tray and spread them out to let the cool completely
That’s it! Once cooled you can store them in an airtight container for up to a week (if they last that long)
