1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder (good quality!!)
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Amazing frosting:
3 tablespoons softened butter
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tablespoons cream
Ok, why buy gross box brownies when these take like no time at all! Now this recipe is for a 9×9 pan, so if you’re using a larger pan, make sure to double the recipe but keep the same time!! First things first, set the oven at 350*F and grease up the pan you’re using. In a large stainless steal mixing bowl mix together the melted butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs until all combined. Once they are all combined, add all the dry ingredients, like the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt and blend together! Once combined, spread in the greased pan and bake for 20-30 minutes until brownies are starting to pull away from the sides, but I like to check them at about 20 minutes. When they’re done, leave out to cool and make the frosting if you want frosting(I’m telling you, you want the frosting!) In a bowl, cream together the butter cocoa powder, honey, and vanilla until all mixed. Next, add the confectioners sugar and cream! When brownies are cooled, spread allllll that yumminess (frosting) on the brownies and ta-da! Amazing brownies that you can take all the credit for!
