1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
In the oven, position a rack in the middle and preheat to 325*F. Butter a 9-inch square baking pan. In a small, heavy saucepan over low heat combine the butter and chocolate and heat, stirring often, just until melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a large bowl wisk together the eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla until blended. Whisk in the chocolate mixture until completely blended. Add the four and whisk to just incorperate. Pour the batter into the pan and spread the top flat with a rubber spatula. Spoon the creamy peanut butter in dollops all over the batter, then take a knife and run through the batter a few times to make it look beautiful!
Put in the oven and bake about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out almost clean. Let cool completely! Using a sharp knife, cut into squares and serve! Yummy
This sounds divine, and I would love to try it. I have one question. Not sure about the unsweetened chocolate. Is that the baking chocolate that comes in bars?
Thanks so much.
I’m looking forward to making this recipe……it looks delicious!!!
