Pumpkin Bread
This is the BEST pumpkin bread recipe you’ll ever try. It’s moist, rich, flavorful, and so easy to make. Every bite tastes like the holidays and I don’t know about you but I can’t get enough!
Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sour cream
1 large egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground clove
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan with cooking spray
In a large bowl mix together the pumpkin, oil, sour cream, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth
Add in the flour, spices, baking power, baking soda, and salt. Stir until it is just combined
Pour 2/3 of the mixture into the greased loaf pan, reserving 1/3 of the batter
In another bowl mix together the cream cheese, sugar, flour, and egg until combined
Pour the cream cheese mixture into the loaf pan on top of the batter spreading it out gently with a spatula
Add the remaining 1/3 of the batter on top of the cream cheese carefully spreading it out
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Let the bread cool slightly in the pan before removing
Slice, serve, and prepare to fall in love
