Instead if paprika look for ACHIOTE EN POLVO, it’s basically ground annato, it really adds color naturally. If you use tomato paste let it caramelize with the ground beef, and use mexican oregano.
Blakely, I have tried many chili recipes, including many of my own, and I must say for prep time and effort your recipe is fantastic! I went a little lighter on the onion I think (not given a cup measure), and a little heavier on the cumin and chili powder. Thanks! And as always, you’re cookin’!!
