Ingredients
  1. Slaw
  2. 1 bag shredded cabbage slaw
  3. 1 bunch scallions, sliced thin
  4. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  5. 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
  6. 1 package Roman Noodles, chicken flavor, crushed up
  7. Vinaigrette
  8. 1/2 cup Canola oil
  9. 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  10. 2 tablespoons sugar
  11. 1 packet roman noodle seasoning
Instructions
  1. I feel like I say this a lot, but this really is a family favorite! I promise you every time we get together this slaw will be there! It’s so easy and delicious and sometimes I eat an entire plate of it. It’s my Gogo’s recipe and it’s here to stay. I like to assemble the slaw and make the dressing on the side. When you’re ready to serve add the vinaigrette, toss, and devour. You ready for a really hard recipe folks?? Ok… here it goes. In a serving bowl add your shredded cabbage, toasted almonds, sliced scallions, sesame seeds, and crushed up Roman Noodles. In a bowl mix together the canola oil, rice wine vinegar, sugar, and seasoning. Toss together and serve. Whew! Can you guys handle this hard recipe?!

One of my favorites, I actually like putting the dressing on a couple hours before I eat it and letting the cabbage wilt just a bit. I do tend to put the ramen on just before I eat it so it stays crunchy. I also use the Oriental flavor ramen packs if I can find them although thats become hard to do.
I think I’ll have to make this sometime this weekend because now I’m craving it.
Thanks for another great recipe Blakely.
