Cake
  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup cake flour
  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  5. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  6. 1 stick butter, room temp
  7. 1 cup sugar
  8. 2 eggs
  9. 1 cup buttermilk
Topping
  1. 1 cup brown sugar
  2. 1 stick melted butter
  3. 5 slices pineapple
Instructions
  1. This is an amazing recipe you have to try this! So what you want to do first is preheat the oven to 375*F. In a bowl mix together the two flours, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. In another larger bowl cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. To the butter and sugar put only half of the dry ingredients and mix together just until incorporated. Once that is mixed together, add half of the buttermilk and mix until just mixed together. Repeat this again and mix all together. In your cake pan, add the brown sugar to the bottom and pour the melted butter over it. Arrange the pineapple slices so they’re pretty :) . Put the batter over and smooth down. Put in the oven and let cook for about 35-40 minutes until done!!! Take out of the oven and let cook for about 5 minutes and then turn in out onto a plate and serve warm!! Heaven :)
