- 1 oz Grand Marnier
Instructions
- Ever feel like having a spicy/sour/sweet fiesta in your mouth?! Make this drink. After making this video we went on a spicy margarita kick for days. They're so addicting. I know in most restaurants they make margaritas with pre-made sour mix but I can't stand that. It's too sweet and fake tasting for me. I like to go the extra mile by just using fresh citrus and it really makes all the difference. Let's get this party going! In a small pan over high heat add the sugar and water and keep stirring until all the sugar is dissolved. Once it is dissolved turn off the heat and add the cilantro in there. Let it steep until the syrup is cool to the touch. In a shaker squeeze the juice from a lime, lemon, and orange and add the peels in there along with the fresh jalapeno. You can make it as spicy or not as you want by leaving the seeds and ribs in there. Give it a good muddle to release all the juices. To that add the simple syrup, tequila, Cointreau, and Grand Marnier. Give it a good shake and pour into a salt rimmed glass full of ice. I like to garnish with a lime wedge and some cilantro leaves. That's it! Cheers!
