  1. Honestly… I’m not a turkey burger fan. Never have been. Too dry, not enough flavor, too…healthy and boring tasting. Well, that has all changed now that I’ve created this recipe. I was being a bit nostalgic about my Greek travels and all the delicious food I had over there when this recipe just hit me. I had to try and make it and thank goodness that I did because it is amazing!
  2. Preheat your griddle pan, grill, or skillet to medium high and lightly grease it with non stick cooking spray
  3. In a bowl combine the ground turkey, red pepper, red onion, sundried tomatoes, half package frozen spinach that you thawed and squeezed every ounce of juice out of it (very important!), oregano, salt, pepper, crumbled feta, egg, and plain bread crumbs. Use your hand and mix it all together to combine
  4. Roll the mixture into a ball and then flatten out into a patty. This recipe makes about 5-6 turkey burgers depending on the size
  5. Add the burgers to your griddle pan that you sprayed with non stick cooking spray and let them cook on one side for 5 minutes before flipping and letting them cook an additional 3-5 minutes on the other side so that they are cooked through
  6. While those are cooking make the tzatziki sauce. In a bowl combine the greek yogurt, grated cucumber, grated garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and fresh dill
  7. Now it’s time to assemble this greek goddesses. On your bun add the turkey burger, lettuce, tomato, red onion, feta, and a big dollop of the fresh tzatziki sauce
  8. That’s it! The best turkey burger you will ever have. Opa!
